Who TRULY supports the Troops? According to the Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America, the DEMOCRATS do

The news out of Iraq now is this: US considers adding troops in Baghdad. Translation: Repukes are still staying the curse, so they need more of our sons and daughter to go die for their incompetent illegal lie of a war in Iraq. Oh... and don't even dare to think that things are any better in Afghanistan: US military officials tell ABC News that cross-border attacks by the Taliban are up 300% since Pakistani Pres Musharraf declared a "truce" w/ tribal leaders in the troubled N. Waziristan region that borders Afghanistan. Reports say Taliban vigilantes now patrol the streets, while Pakistani govt officials and the military are all but absent. Hmm... I guess this means that former Bush terrorism czar Richard Clarke is proven yet again correct when he predicted back in Sept: "What this means is that the Taliban and al Qaida leadership have effectively carved out a sanctuary inside Pakistan." Oh, don't worry. Our esteemed and questionably hetero prez once again looked deeply into another male leader's eyes and announced: "When Pres Musharraf looks me in the eye and says the tribal deal is intended to reject the Talibanization of the people, and that there won't be a Taliban and won't be Al Qaeda, I believe him." So, against this backdrop of BushCo war incompetence, comes this: Shamelessly taken from a diary by Hunter at Daily Kos comes this truly un-frickin-believable chart from Bob Geiger that will blow you away. The chart, based on the over 300 votes the IAVA (Iraq & Afghanistan Veterans of America) used in its calculation, ALL Senate Democrats have been more supportive of the troops -- when it comes to their actual votes, over the past 5 yrs -- than ANY of the Senate Republicans. Hey lying sack of gangrenous shit GOPers... go stuff that in the tailpipe of your gas-hog SUV w/ the crappy yellow magnetic "I support the troops" sticker. You freaks support torture. Not our troops.
