Another Porn Star runs as a Republican

HuffingtonPost: Melody Damayo (aka Mimi Miyagi), the former adult film actress, is now running for Gov of NV as a Repub candidate. I wonder if Falwell & Robertson will be encouraging their flock to vote for her? Well, c'mon... She is a divorced single mother. Ya know how strongly the Religious Fright feels about divorce and single moms. Take for instance this quote of her's : Q: Would you ever consider going back into the industry - as far as making videos is concerned? MIMI: I would say probably softcore stuff. The hardcore, actually having sex with people, no, I would not, not at this day and age, you know. There's so much AIDS going around, it's scary. That was the main reason I left the adult business." Uhh, Mimi, I hate to break it to you, but on your resume at your campaign site, your adult film career is listed from the yr 1992 to 2003. You just became aware of AIDS sometime around '03? And you did porn for 11 yrs?? THAT is beyond scary. Had an HIV test lately, Mimi? And maybe it's just me, but when your claims to fame are films called Amber the Lesbian Queefer, East Eats West, & Anal Asian, how exactly does that prepare you for a job like Gov? Well truthfully, I guess she hasn't been nor will be more of whore than Tom DeLay, right? I say this is what her campaign catch phrase will be: Mimi Miyagi. Just what the GOP needs: Another whore who sucks.
