What alternative universe are Rove/Laura in?

1st, peruse this new WaPo poll on the GOP and Bush: 69% said the nation is now off track, and 56% said they would prefer to see Dems in control of Congress after the elections. Next, take a look at these Survey USA poll numbers for all 50 states on Bush's job approval rating for mid-April and mid-May. Take a gander at this: When 62% in SC, 61% in KS, 58% in GA, and 56% in TX DISapprove of your job, ya know you truly suck. Somebody at the NSA had better listen in on Laura's and Rove's phone conversations to see what kind of drugs they are on b/c how else could you explain these statements: 1) ROVE via WaPo: In explaining Bush's poor standing, Rove kept going back to the war in Iraq. "They're just sour right now on the war. And that's the way it's going to be." 2) LAURA via Huff Post: First lady Laura Bush said she does not believe opinion polls showing her husband's approval ratings at record low levels. She complained: "When my husband's popularity was high, newspapers did not put that on the front pg." Oh... I see. It isn't that Bush's policies and agendas have driven America over a cliff at full throttle. Instead, it is just that damned mythical liberal media bias and that damned war that is in the last throes of it's insurgency.
