BushCo Tampering in Mexico's elections?

Here are the facts (via Seattle PI): "It comes down to this: 5 candidates in a furious race for president. 2 are locked in a dead heat. A 3rd is a dark horse & the other 2 have no chance. Mexican voters are deeply divided. Sunday's election pits the have-nots against the haves, the self-styled revolutionaries against the conservatives, keepers of the status quo. (Sound familiar??) The polls show leftist candidate Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador, in a statistical tie w/ Felipe Calderon, of President Vicente Fox's center-right Natl Action Party." Now, that may sound eerily familiar: 2 party candidates who are polar opposites-- neck in neck in a statistical dead heat.... but now for the REALLY spooky familiar part (via Greg Palast): "George Bush's operatives have plans to jigger with the upcoming elections. I'm not talking about the Nov '06 vote in the USA (though they have plans for that, too). I'm talking about the election this Sunday in Mexico for their Presidency. It begins w/ an FBI document marked, "Counterterrorism," "Foreign Intelligence Collection," & "Secret." Date: "9/17/2001," only 6 days after the attack on the World Trade towers. It's nice to know the feds got right on the ball, if a little late. This document is what's called a "guidance" memo for using a private contractor to provide databases on dangerous foreigners. So you'd think the "Intelligence Collection" would be aimed at getting info on the guys in the Gulf. No so. The target nations for "foreign counterterrorism investigation" were nowhere near the Persian Gulf. Every 1 was in Latin America (Argentina, Venezuela, Mexico and a few others). Why there? Besides a lack of terrorists, each had a left-leaning presidential candidate or a left-leaning president in office. In Venezuela, Prez Hugo Chavez, "enemy" of the Bush Admin, was facing a recall vote. In Mexico, the anti-Bush Mayor of Mexico City, Andres Manuel Lopez Obrador was (and is) leading the race for the Presidency." And who will be helping the Mexicans record their votes? Oh yeah...: "Most provocative is the contractor to whom this no-bid contract was handed: ChoicePoint Inc of Alpharetta, GA. ChoicePoint is the database company that created a list for Gov Jeb Bush of FL of voters to scrub from voter rolls before the 2000 election. ChoicePt's list (94,000 names in all) contained few felons. Most of those on the list were guilty of no crime except Voting While Black. The disenfranchisement of these voters cost Al Gore the presidency. Great. Isn't it nice to see that Dieboldesque shenanigans so easily cross that border that hardliners want to see bricked up?: "Having chosen our Prez for us, our Prez's men chose ChoicePt for another sovereign nation's democratic elections. Nice to see that whether near or far, BushCo long bloody arm is just an e-voting machine away. So, when the candidate currently in front (the left's Obrador) suddenly and mysteriously loses to the right's Calderon-- despite what all exit polls indicate, don't be shocked.
