Big Pro-Cindy Rally in Crawford Was Held

Daily Kos: Here is Cindy's account of the rally, where 100s arrived to support her but less than 20 people were there to bash her and hail Bush. The number of pro-Bushies, according to TX Sharon, who also provided great photos of the rally's events, was exactly 17 people. Hmm, given that so few pro-Bushies were there (deep in the heart of Bush country, mind you) I think perhaps the London Times is dead-on when they say that Bush is losing serious ground even amongst his staunchest supporters? Yeah, when Niall Ferguson (Bush butt kisser extraordinaire) says stuff like this, ya know Bush's support is drying up: "In Iran," Bush declared in a speech back in Nov 03, "the demand for democracy is strong and broad." Dream on. Far from being on the brink of democracy, Iran is now on the brink of becoming the single biggest threat to democracy in the world." Well, I guess as long as Bush can keep knocking his military leaders and fellow GOPers in line w/threats (as he just did to Gen George Casey for disclosing that the US will likely start drawing down its troops early next yr) Bush & Co can keep deluding themselves that all is well & there is no massive slip in the poll numbers.
