Saturday, August 13, 2005 War Fans Chant "We don't care!" to Sheehan in TX Yesterday, I postulated a theory on why the GOPers are attacking Cindy inconveniently grieving her son's death & having the gall to demand accountability from our leader who lied our nation into this war that caused her son's death: "I think that some of the anti-Cindy sentiment is b/c GOPers are heartless, soul-less sociopaths... Since GOPers honestly think they owe society nothing, maybe that is why they do not care if a mother's heart & soul is endlessly broken by her good kid's senseless death and sacrifice." Need proof? The Lone Star Iconoclast: Today the anti-Cindy hordes descended upon Crawford led by syndicated radio asshat Mike Gallagher (who has never served and has 4 sons of age who are not serving either) and showed their true colors by gathering near the peaceful Camp Casey and chanted "We don't care!" to Cindy and the other anti-war protestors & families who lost their loved ones in Iraq. Can you imagine for 1 sec having the balls to chant that towards people who have lost a loved one AND then still have the nerve to claim that THEY are morally superior and correct, & the very picture of patriotism? How many of these chickenhawks have lost a loved one to this war, served themselves in this war, or have their loved ones in harm's way in Iraq? I wonder how many soldiers would be pissed to know that they chanted "We don't care"? Not caring about the sacrifice soldiers make is so patriotic, no? THAT is truly supporting our troops, no? Heartless, soul-less depraved ghouls- the whole lot of 'em. I might actually have a teeny bit of respect for them if they chanted this: "We don't care that your children, brothers, husbands, mothers, sisters, and wives are dying for a lie--as long as there's a Republican in the WH." or "We don't care that a 100,000 civilians have been bombed or shot in our name--we're too busy trying to bring back the good old days of back-alley abortions." or "We don't care that this administration is corrupt to its core--it's more important to keep gays from marrying." |
