Tuesday, February 07, 2006 Nagin is Seeking Foreign Aid to Rebuild NOLA New Orleans Mayor Ray Nagin is looking to other nations for help in rebuilding his hurricane-damaged city b/c of shortcomings in aid from the US govt. "France can take Treme. The King of Jordan can take the Lower 9th Ward," Nagin said, referring to 2 of the city's neighborhoods. How incredibly shameful is this? The mayor of an American city must beg dignitarities from foreign lands to rebuild his city?
