Wednesday, February 01, 2006 Great News for US Troops! Bird Flu in Iraq Sweet baby Jesus... this is some seriously messed up news for our troops in Iraq: The Avian Flu has been confirmed as the cause of death for at least 2 Iraqis. And this certainly doesn't bode well for us back home, either. Please remember that the Spanish Flu of 1918 was brought home to the US via soldiers returning from the battlefields in WWI.
