House rejects Gay Marriage Amendment

Rejected!: "The House rejected a proposed constitutional amendment to ban gay marriage on Tues, a setback that conservatives hope to turn to their advantage in the fall elections. (Oh, I'm sure the wingnuts will be out in full force cause nuthin makes them foam at the mouth quicker than those damned equal & human rts) Profusely sweating sweet and sour sauce, (or was that the glaze of a doughnut?) Speaker of the House Dennis Hastert (R-IL) warned: "Be assured that this issue is not over." Yeah Denny, it won't be over... just like that nasty lil $1.5 million highway project scandal of your's isn't over, either. But then again, you're used to scandals, Denny.
