Coretta Scott King 1927-2006 Rest in Peace


I chose this pix of Coretta Scott King b/c it showed her beautiful family and she appeared very happy. After her husband's murder, no matter how much her lovely face was smiling, there was such a sense of incredible grief that could be seen in her eyes. I cannot imagine living on w/o my husband, yet she did... with incredible grace and kindness to all. I mean Mrs Scott King absolutely no disrespect, but does anyone else find it a wee bit strange that she passed away on the exact same day that a well-known racist like Alito is confirmed as a Justice to our Sup Crt? The very crt that is the court of last resort for Americans when their civil rights are violated?
