Abramoff prosecutor has ties to DeLay defense

Uh oh... this can't be good. During the Katrina/Brownie you're doing a heck of a job debacle, Bush squeezed in 1 of his recess appts. Her name is Alice Fisher. She was a Bush recess appt that couldn't get confirmed b/c she wouldn't testify about what she knew about torture at Gitmo. So who is going to be in charge of the Abramoff prosecution? Alice Fisher. Here is what Sen Leahy says about Fisher: "There have been reports that she has had ties to DeLay's defense team. We will also want to know what steps she intends to take to avoid a conflict of interest in the Dept's investigation of Abramoff and possibly DeLay.
