Roberts(R-KS) to Frist(R-TN):Back Off Fristypants

WashPost: Senate Intelligence committee chair Pat Roberts (R-KS) has sent a formal request to Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, asking that Congress hold off on a probe of the disclosure of classified info on secret prisons to The Wash Post until the Justice Dept completes its own inquiry. When asked how long a Just Dept investigation would take... Roberts joked, "Decades." Yeh, I'm sure it'll be a mighty long time. The GOP certainly doesn't want to get to the bottom of this particular leak anytime soon... especially since the source is probably 1 of their very own, according to Trent Lott.
