Wednesday, November 09, 2005 In My State of OH Some Big Dem Wins for Mayors Despite the disappointment in Reform Ohio Now (issues 2-5) getting beaten, ya have to look at something else tonight in OH that may be a sign of the times. There were mayoral races in Cleveland, Cincinnati, Toledo, Dayton and Youngstown. Only in Youngstown was there a Republican candidate. That GOPer got about 1% of the vote. I watched Frank Jackson, the new mayor elect of Cleveland, give his winner's speech, and I was impressed, and I hope he is great for the city. |
