offered us, eh? As we look towards '09, let's all cross our fingers and hope that we can soon pee our pants in glee as we watch O'Reilly have to choke out the words "Senator Al Franken of MN!" And let's all say a prayer that the bloody insanity in Gaza ends mutually, although when news & images like this and this are seen, it's hard to imagine any resolution arising peacefully, as both Hamas and Israel are literally going out of their way to ensure the destruction of the possibility of a 2-state solution. And let's also pray that America gets set on a path that can finally make us proud and prosperous. Now Hubby and I are off to welcome guests for a night of entertaining... and oh yeah... plenty of champagne will be cracked open. We have much to be hopeful and very very worried about in this new year, so a wee bit of alcohol will take the edge off. Happy New Year!
