Friday, June 02, 2006 Iraqi PM: Stop killing our civilians Ya would think that Bush would hang his head in shame. But.... that would require the soul-less prick to have a conscience (via NYTs): "Prime Minister Nuri Kamal al-Maliki lashed out at the US military, denouncing what he characterized as habitual attacks by troops against Iraqi civilians. Maliki said violence against civilians had become a "daily phenomenon" by many troops in the US-led coalition who "do not respect the Iraqi people. They crush them w/ their vehicles and kill them just on suspicion," he said. "This is completely unacceptable." Attacks on civilians will play a role in future decisions on how long to ask American forces to remain in Iraq, the prime minister added." Now I'm no Miss Manners, but when the host asks you stop eating all of the party's pate, you do. When the host asks you to stop chugging the champagne and groping the guests, you do. So, when the prime minister of the nation that you illegally invaded and now occupy asks you to stop killing w/ impunity the civilians that you now "liberated," you don't have to be genius to figure this out: YOU DO. |
