Racism & Pedophilia Tied to GOPers in VA

There are so many sick twists and turns in this article from The Nation, ya truly have to read it to realize how depraved these GOPers in VA are. The gist is this: Jerry Kilgore is the GOP candidate for VA Gov. Kilgore is tied to racist groups which include Holocaust deniers, David Duke, neo-Nazi leader Bill White, fascist author David Irving & Peter Gemma. Gemma is the former media director for the Natl Policy Institute, a white nat'list think tank in VA posing as the answer to the question it asks presumably white visitors to its website: "Who speaks for us?" Also involved in this sick circus is VA GOP candidate for Attorney Genrl Bob McDonnell. His nickname is Taliban Bob b/c of his reactionary stance on social issues, especially sexual issues. When dealing w/ VA’s sodomy, or “crimes against nature” law, ANY oral and/or anal sexual activity between both heterosexual and homosexual people is a crime. Violation of the law = Class 6 felony, punishable by up to 5yrs incarceration. After trying to get a female judge "unappointed" to the bench b/c he claimed she was a lesbian and therefore a criminal, McDonnell said this when asked if he himself had ever engaged in any form of sodomy: "Not that I can recall." WTF? I've been w/my husband since '98 & married for 6 of those yrs... I should receive the death penalty for all of the sodomy crimes I have committed & I'm sure that's true for most couples... gay or straight.) Taliban Bob also has declared himself "a drug dealer's worst nightmare," and pledging to protect VA's citizens from sexual predators. McDonnell has not only financed his campaign through a possibly illegal slush fund but has hired 3 former associates of indicted GOP über-lobbyist Jack Abramoff. One of them, who once served as McDonnell's campaign manager, is now in prison for soliciting sex w/ a 13 yr old young boy. The family values this group espouses is enough to make me vomit... family values... the Manson Family, perhaps.
