Senate Supports McCain Anti Torture Amendment

WashPost: The Senate defied the WH onWeds when 46 Repubs joined 43 Dems and 1 independent voted to define and limit interrogation techniques that US troops may use against terrorism suspects, the latest sign that alarm over treatment of prisoners. Nine ghouls voted nay, and shockingly... snark... cough... they are all GOPers. Allard (R-CO), Bond (R-MO), Coburn (R-OK) , Cochran (R-MS), Cornyn (R-TX), Inhofe (R-OK), Roberts (R-KS), Sessions (R-AL), Stevens (R-AK).
