Karl Rove & John Ashcroft: Dirty Secrets & Recusal

Village Voice: Former Att Gen Ashcroft not only refused to recuse himself over a period of months from the Plame outing investigation, but also insisted on being personally briefed about matters implicating his friend, Karl Rove, represents a stunning ethical breach that cried out for an immediate investigation by the Dept's Office of Professional Responsibility and Inspector General. Ashcroft also told investigators that he firmly believed that Rove had w/held important info from them during a FBI interview. I think now would be a fine time for Rove to put on hip boots b/c all of the lies are getting mighty deep.
