Hastert: Working families aren't TAXED!

This fucking GOP moron is not only the Spker of the House, but he is also the 2nd person in the succession line behind VP Cheney to be prez if Bush's chimpyness were to cease to exist. Here's Hastert's idiocy (via Capitol Times): "During debate on the House budget proposal, Hastert, who famously proposed bulldozing NOLA after Katrina hit, announced that working families should not be looking for any tax breaks. Why? B/c Hastert does not think that working families pay taxes: "Well, folks, if you earn $40K per yr and have a family of 2, you don't pay any taxes. So if you don't pay any taxes, you are not going to get a big tax cut. Now, if you earn $1 mill a yr, you are going to pay about $400K of taxes. Maybe you'll get a $40K tax cut." Just to clarify, working families pay: 1) Fedrl income taxes, 2) State income taxes, 3) Local income taxes, 4) Soc Sec taxes, 5) Sales taxes, 6) Gasoline taxes and most of the other taxes that rich people pay. While some very poor families got a bit of tax relief during the Clinton yrs, working families of the sort Hastert was talking about still pay more than their fair share. The people who do not pay their fair share are those very rich folks to whom Hastert wants to give another tax break. Maybe Hastert the Moron should try reading this from CSM: "Why the rich get the most tax goodies."
