In New Orleans only the Wealthy, White, and "Non- Sinners" Get Help & Rebuilding

In case you thought that things might be improving in NOLA, don't wonder... things aren't getting better: 1) Guardian UK: "Drowned City Cuts Its Poor Adrift" and 2) To the People: "We Don't Want Your Business"-- "House Repubs voted to prohibit casinos, massage parlors and liquor stores from cashing in on tax breaks for businesses in Gulf Coast communities ravaged by hurricanes. House Repubs also blocked country clubs, hot tub facilities, private and commercial golf courses, racetracks and tanning parlors from receiving tax incentives to re-open their businesses and provide people with jobs. Don't they realize that people will only go to New Orleans if they can drink, gamble, and get quality hand-jobs?" Well... it ain't called the Big Easy for nothing ya know. But as I said in Sept, the new grand plan for rebuilding NOLA is to turn the Crescent City into an anemic lily-white wonderland. What's next? Are they gonna try to bleed Detroit dry of all character and soul and turn it into Aspen?
