FEMA's Brown Resigns & Bush Has No Clue

AP: 3 days after losing his onsite command of the Hurricane Katrina relief effort, FEMA director Mike Brown resigned. R. David Paulison, a career firefighter from FL and "Mr Duct Tape for Terrorism", will replace Brown as head of FEMA's emergency preparedness force. Apparantly, our President is YET AGAIN CLUELESS (courtesy of Think Progress): Bush’s reponse to a reporter who asked whether he had heard that his own FEMA director resigned today from the administration was: "Maybe you know something I don’t know.” They know something he doesn't?... naaww... that would be totally shocking, huh? I don't what is more shocking to me: 1) That the leader of our nation has absolutely no fucking idea what is going on. 2) That the leader of our nation is left in the dark so the "big people" can take care of the grown-up stuff. OR 3) That our avaricious leader is absolutely dumbfounded by the fact that people really do perform acts of kindness and are generous to those in need just b/c it is THE RIGHT THING to do for the benefit of ALL of SOCIETY.
