big shock: Mike Brown head of FEMA Incompetent

Well, it appears that this has been picked up by the corporate media in the wake of the Criminally Negligent Katrina Debacle, and HorsesAss Org is on top of it again: "After dismally failing to adequately respond to Hurricane Katrina, FEMA Dir Mike Brown must now prepare to weather the full fury of the MSM. The Boston Herald struck 1st, and now Knight-Ridder further exposes the stunningly unqualified Brown w/ a scathing bio that is sure to hit Sunday papers across the US. As Josh at Talking Points Memo explains, Brown’s main qualification for the post – perhaps his only – is the fact that he was a college roommate of former FEMA head and Bush political fixer Joe Allbaugh. And as Knight-Ridder points out, Brown’s prior experience with disaster was a disastrous run for Congress." My, this is a big shock... yawn... another unqualified GOP F-up & Bush bootlicker appointed to a powerful position where US citizens' lives, well being, and livelihoods hang in the balance. We are all simply playthings to this soul-less pack of pricks. Why should 1 single word from their mouths ever be trusted on any nominee? How many lies were told to cover this info up when Bush appointed Brown? No wonder Rep Wexler (D-FL) called for Brown's resignation way back in Jan 05, and a clearly pissed off Paula Zahn (video here Crooks & Liars) ripped into Brown (transcript here AMERICAblog) over the Katrina debacle.
