Jean Schmidt & Coingate's Noe Connected

Is there a connection to Jean Schmidt and the ringleader of OH's Coingate fiasco? Well, as AMERICAblog points out: Schmidt told a local morning news show that she didn't know Tom Noe, never met him, and never even HEARD of him. Funny, because she testified before Noe only 3 yrs ago, and Schmidt apparently has almost total recall of everyone she's ever met. Please watch the interview Schmidt and Hackett jointly gave to local CBS 12 in Cincy's WKRC at Round1 and Round 2. Watch Schmidt claim that in college yrs & yrs ago that she "knew that extremists in the Middle East" would cause problems for the US (who knew she was psychic?) and that she didn't know, that she'd never met, and that she had never even heard of Tom Noe. Really? Not according to Editor & Publisher and Bob Brigham of Swing State Project and Steve Gilliard, who aptly points out that while Schmidt was on the Education Committee and Noe was chair of the Board of Regents- not just a member, it is impossible that Schmidt not only didn't know him, but that she had to have dealings with him. Such a stupid lie, so easy to check. Schmidt claims that if Noe walked into a room that she could not even recognize him. Hmm, that's funny b/c at Majikthise, it is pointed out that Tom Noe's pix is still on the OH Board of Regents in at least 2 places as resigned Regent Chrmn Noe & in the Board Members group pix. And the most damning evidence of all: Official state documents dated March 21, 2002 show that Jean Schmidt had met with the Ohio Board of Regents the day before. Noe attended the March 21 meeting AND documents establish that Tom Noe testified before Jean Schmidt's committee on March 18, 2003 AND Majikthise connects the 2 even further to the Bush/Cheney 04 campaign and a grand jury. Liar, Liar- Pants on Fire...
