Pat Robertson Loses Re-Election Seat

Pat Robertson lost a bid for re-election to the Natl Religious Broadcasters' board of directors. Robertson was one of 38 candidates for 33 board seats. NRB Pres Frank Wright said there was no broad effort to distance the group from Robertson. But "there was broad dismay with some of Pat's comments and a feeling they were not helpful to Christian broadcasters in general." Really Frank? How about expanding that even more and adding this: Everytime Pat opens his mouth and spews hatred, intolerance, and contempt for those who aren't wingnuts and/or wealthy, he is not helpful to CHRISTIANITY.
