GOPer Bill Bennett's Wishes:Not Just Abort Blacks

In case we ever needed more proof of the GOP agenda and plan to destroy our entire system of govt, stating with The New Deal and going backwards, leaving only the wealthiest (and probably whitest) of society to remain to succeed, while the rest of us are serfs, please read this from TalkingPoint'sMemoCafe: "When I (Reed Hundt) was chairman of the Federal Communications Commission (1993-97), I asked Bill Bennett to visit my office so that I could ask him for help in seeking legislation that would pay for internet access in all classrooms and libraries in the country... Since Mr Bennett had been Secretary of Education I asked him to support the bill in the crucial stage when we needed Republican allies. He told me he would not help, because he did not want public schools to obtain new funding, new capability, new tools for success. He wanted them, he said, to fail so that they could be replaced with vouchers, charter schools, religious schools, and other forms of private education." Well, we suspected it all along... nice to see we finally have actual proof of the Grand GOP Evil Scheme for all of America's school children. And don't misunderstand this, this plan will only add to the suffering urban schools already feel-- urban schools which just happen to have the heaviest number of minority students. Nothing like killing 2 birds w/one stone, eh?
