CAFTA Passes in the Senate + Roll Call Vote

CAFTA would have failed in the Senate if all Dems had voted NO b/c 12 Repubs voted against the bill too. The only Dem who gets a pass on not voting against this issue is Lieberman (his mom died and he is probably sitting shiva in Jewish observance for the dead), so for all other Dems who voted for this, they can answer to the average working American family in 2006. It is reprehensible that anyone could vote for CAFTA after we have seen (firsthand in a state like OH) how disasterous NAFTA has been (and yes, I know Clinton was all for NAFTA, but Clinton was the best "Republican" Democratic prez America has ever had, IMHO). We can only hope that now it will not pass in the House. So, assuming that about 10 Dems vote YES that leaves the GOP with 241 votes if all Repubs vote yes. They need 218, so if just about 24 House Repubs vote NO it will lose. Let's cross our fingers and contact our House members and let them know we do not need even more US jobs outsourced.
